A lot of your responses to Racthoh's posts are simple excuses for being bad/lazy.

The standard imbagon bar will outperform any shoddy Soldier's Fury bar using crappy skills to make up for it.

I was unaware of the bug as I never used the skill too heavily. Definitely not something I'd recommend becoming accustom to in the unlikely event it does get fixed.

The superior leadership cap gives you a 5 second window for Aggressive Refrain with "There's Nothing to Fear!". Halting your attack to use Anthem of Flame creates a larger window of "Save Yourselves!" downtime.

"For Great Justice!" does two things. One it allows you to avoid waiting between combats for Focused Anger to recharge, meaning you can engage the next mob before everyone's adrenaline goes away. You can begin the next encounter with your physicals having fully/near charged Dragon Slashes or Earthshakers, to the Imbagon conserving his adrenaline from the previous combat ready to launch a "Save Yourselves!" upon engagement. Second it creates a larger margin of error when it comes to the length of combat. If my party has spent the entire 45 second duration in the heat of combat then we're obviously encountered some problems. Be it extra aggro, lack of focused damage, attacks missing, whatever. In those situations there is the possibility that the monk's energy is under a lot of stress. 15 seconds of the entire party suddenly taking significantly more damage is a recipe for disaster.

Some people use an anthem, others "For Great Justice!". I was someone who heavily played hero/hench with my paragon so taking additional steps to compensate for unexpected AI behavior was most logical. In areas where I can't hero/hench I'm probably popping an Essence of Celerity allowing 24/7 uptime of Focused Anger anyway. In those instances "For Great Justice!" becomes Signet of Return instead, acting as another fall back for human error instead. It's the strongest hard res in the PvE game and I've got an open slot anyway with nothing else to fill it given the mindset I want when playing paragon.

If you're looking to minimize your mistakes then I would emulate the standard bar's ability to perform without interruptions. Replace the ward with Signet of Return, and Swift Javelin/Spear of Lightning with Spear of Fury. With nothing to halt the attack process your "Save Yourselves!" downtime will be significantly reduced.

Nice to see someone coming to this forum, spouting snippets and calling bad/lazy someone who has already admitted his limitations.

I'm happy that Racthoh with his post literally humiliated you showing how to answer in a forum with sensible and solid argumentations.

Have fun playing your "standard imbagon bar" copied and pasted from wiki and feel godly.

I'm pretty sure snow uses the TAM variant imbagon bar that they created if anything. Which happens to be different to the one on wiki.

In the case of spear of fury i find it works best on a cruel spear bar. It gives a huge +damage you can use after your deep wound and also helps to recharge your cruel spear for another hit. Other pve only skills outshine it if you are running any form of Imba however.

Just because something is different doesn't make it better or worse until it has been viewed and used.

Just FYI-the standard Imbagon bar is:

[aggressive refrain][for great justice][focused anger][there's nothing to fear][save yourselves][optional][optional][optional]

This is nowhere near the crappy imbagon bar that's posted on pvxwiki.

The fact is that to maintain your [[soldier's fury] imbagon, you'll need to be using a slot for a long duration shout/chant. And most of those end early do to some condition (attacking, damage etc.) or need something else from outside the build to make it worthwhile ([[they're on fire] for example). Your solution of using [[can't touch this] is interesting, it's not optimal.

To return to an earlier post you made:

Quote:
If you use Racthoh build you also have FGJ, but in case that the 21s duration of AR happens during the 45s between 2 endings of FGJ you MUST use with no mistake TNtF to reapply AR.

Now, we all now that Racthoh is the best paragon in GW and can play every build blindfolded, but I'm not, so I know I can (and very likely will) make mistakes.
That's why I try to create the conditions to minimize the effects of my mistakes.
Let me ask you this-is it better to cover up your mistakes or learn from them? Being able to hit that TNtF right when it recharges can be a pain-it does take practice, and it's not something you'll pick up right away. Took me almost 2 monthes before I got the hang of it. While Snow's post maybe a little harsh, it is true.

If you're concerned about missing a TNtF-you can always recast AR. Not to mention carrying a second head with a sup. leadership out of battle isn't a bad idea-not my cup of tea as I'd rather just hit TNtF on recharge.

Well, thank you.

Understand the fact that I took a lot of Racthoh's builds (most of which are widely used for their efficiency) and tweaked them to make them even better.

All of my builds that I use are my own, and have been constructed on a pure-efficiency standpoint.

But thanks

An imbagon is good anyway you put it. As long as you dont take out the core SY and some adrenal gain, you'll own easy...

Out of sheer boredom (and a little curiosity) I tried using Soldier's Fury + "Lead the Way" instead of Focused Anger + Aggressive Refrain in my imbagon build. Tested it out in a couple HM missions and it worked....sort of . I was able to maintain SY some of the time but it wasn't the smooth and sexy non-stop shouting imbagon I'm used to. I guess Soldier's Fury is a fun skill to mess around with every once in a while, but that's just about it.
